12. When I try to register, I get the message "This e-mail address is already registered".
This means that you have already registered with us using this address. To resolve the problem, simply access the login screen, click on "Password Forgotten" and apply for a new password using your e-mail address. There is no need to enter a user name at this point.
13. Which formats and which size of document can I upload?
In addition to documents created using standard Microsoft Office programs like Word, PowerPoint and Excel, you can also upload files in the following formats:
- Rich Text Format (.rtf)
- Plain Text (.txt)
- Portable Document Format (.pdf)
- Motion Pictures Experts Group (.mpeg)
- Bitmap (.bmp)
-Tagged Image File (.tif) and
- Joint Photographic Experts Group (.jpg)
Other file formats such as ZIP files cannot be processed.
Attachment must not exceed 1 MB in size.
14. Can I use special characters?
Special characters and symbols may not be displayed correctly by our system.
15. How does LYRECO provide data protection?
We attach great importance to privacy and data protection at LYRECO. This applies particularly to the personal data of applicants and of any individuals registering in the LYRECO Talent Pool. Needless to say, your data will be stored and transmitted securely in compliance with the relevant data protection legislation.
In coordination with our Privacy Officer, we have implemented a strict permissions and data protection system. This means that your data will be treated in absolute confidence and can only be accessed by authorized individuals.
16. How long will my data be stored?
Your data will be stored in our system for as long as you want. It will be removed when your account is deleted. Your account my be deleted in two ways:
Manually - when you actively delete your profile and account.
Automatically - when you do not log on for a period of 12 months. In this case, you will receive an e-mail asking you to log on at least once in the following three-month period. If you fail to do this, your account will be automatically deleted.
17. Which browsers are supported?
Our recruitment system supports the following browsers:
- Internet Explorer 5.5 and higher
- Firefox 1.0 and higher
- Mozilla 1.7.5 and higher
18. Need to download Acrobat Reader?
In some areas, information is provided in the form of PDF documents. To display this correctly, you will need a recent version of Acrobat Reader.
